Lynn Sucher: Business Coach + Female Empowerment Coach
Hi I’m Lynn Sucher! My passion is to help women in behavioral health reach their full potential and move into positons of senior leadership. I understand how to navigate the behavioral health field and want to encourage and facilitate professional development in the next generation. After years in senior level management, I am excited to share what worked for me, pitfalls to avoid, and how to become a strong, impactful leader while living a balanced life.
I am a former corporate vice president in the field of broadcasting, and I have over twenty years of experience in advertising, market research and senior management. During my time in broadcasting, I was the recipient of several Emmys as well as other national and international awards for my work in TV. I have extensive training and experience in the field of chemical dependency, eating disorders, and treatment facility management. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and my Master of Counseling from Arizona State University.
I left the broadcasting industry to become a psychotherapist, and I have enjoyed the journey of changing careers in midlife. After graduate school, I worked at the Meadows and Rosewood Ranch as a primary therapist. I also worked at Psychological Counseling Services in Scottsdale, AZ, specializing in sex addiction and eating disorders, as well as working with executives and professionals. I had a private practice in Scottsdale for over five years, but missed working with a clinical team in a residential setting.
I later became Executive Director of Rebecca’s House, a residential program for eating disorders in Orange County, California and was also Interim Executive Director of Montecatini in Carlsbad, CA. In 2006, Amy Lashway and I founded Treatment Consultants. I have been consulting with eating disorder, substance abuse and behavioral health facilities around the world ever since.
In 2016 I became the Chief Operating Officer of Newport Academy and led a significant expansion of the company in both California and Connecticut.
I also helped to turn around a facility for Calo Programs in Virginia.
In early 2018, I decided to put roots down outside of Atlanta and happily returned to consulting.
